Intel announced new processors ultra-low voltage in the line Core, ideal for use in stylata ultra-thin laptops. Globally the company announced six new models ULV that is manufactured in scale of completion 32nm (occupy also 32% smaller surface and are 32% more rapidly from the previous generation).
Despite the increase in the output, the consumption has been limited considerably after also the six new chip have TDP in the 18W (with the incorporated sub system graphic that allocates and that is dragged on in 166MHz but in conditions of pressure can reaches also 500MHz).
more concretely, Intel announced the processor dual-core Core i7-660UM which allocates frequency of operation 1,33GHz while thanks to the technology Turbo Boost it touches upon 2,4GHz. It allocates 2 x 256KB L2 cache and 4MB L3 cache while his cost has been calculated in the $278.
Core i5-540UM and Core i5-430UM chronizontai in 1,2GHz but thanks to Turbo Boost can reach in frequency 2,0GHz and 1,73GHz respectively. And the two chip incorporate 2 x 256KB L2 cache and 3MB L3 cache. Intel Core i3-330UM runs in 1,2GHz but does not support Turbo Boost while as all chip the line it supports HyperThreading.
Intel announced also their Pentium U5400 who chronizetai in 1,2GHz but does not allocate HypeThreading and does not support Turbo Boost but also Celeron U3400 which does not support HyperThreading and has frequency of operation 1,03GHz and 2MB L3 cache. The cost of Celeron U3400 is $134 and is cheaper all. More you can read.
